Nobody every said life was easy, or even fair, so sometimes it can be hard not to get bogged down when difficulties head our way or when the world seems to have gone nuts. In Goodness Abounds, Sarah Lawrence, along with a lot of other writers share daily stories of goodness abounds – goodness and kindness shared by everyday people in everyday situations. A lovely book to have handy, read a page per day, and be uplifted by the fact that goodness abounds and is truly still with us!
I recently read Tyler Henry’s book, Between Two Worlds. Tyler is a young and talented medium – only 21 – raised in Hanford, CA and now finding himself Hollywood’s go-to medium in LA. His accuracy during readings and his ability to make sense of the way energy is received from those who have passed on is masterful. For anyone wanting to learn how to connect with Loved Ones or simply to learn more about the phenomenon of mediumship, this book is a must.
When a card pull annoys you, it’s probably time to perk up your ears and pay attention. Often we focus on cards that make us feel lovely or uplifted in some way, that completely resonate.

This post was inspired by a suggestion from Darren Rowse, aka Problogger. It’s important to remember that you can set up your browser for maximum focus and productivity, spiritual focus or otherwise!

Despite having practiced several different styles of yoga over the years and thoroughly enjoying Shivasana meditation afterward (corpse pose) I hadn’t yet tried Yoga Nidra. So looking through some yoga practice today on my Gaia…
How to achieve our goals? I love journaling but didn’t think a journal would help with goal-setting. Through a Facebook ad, I found the BestSelf Journal and goal-setting, journaling and achieving goals are now working much better for me. Check out this journal.
IMHO we are slowly being able to move from ‘raising’ children to consciously parenting children as we evolve. Some of that certainly has to do with a level of income, some of it also has to do with the awareness and consciousness of parents who are ready to break free of ancestral patterns and do things differently.
Believe it or not, depression can be a big part of the spiritual journey. Sometimes when we get depressed it can simply be because we’re tired, hungry or overworked (or some combination of all three!). Here are three helps for the depressive state, one energetic, one emotional and one homeopathic.
