If you like Twitter, you can join me for #AkashicChat on Sunday nights, 6pm Central Time, 7pm Eastern Time. My twitter handle is @SarahsEnergy. See you there for conversation, sharing and discussion of modern issues from the Akashic perspective, and ancient issues too, since many of them we haven’t cleared as yet! Plus, I think it would be super cool to get an Akashic hashtag trending at some point. In the light, Sarah
With all the media available to us on the internet now, where are the truly inspirational podcasts for the spiritual seeker? Here are my top 3. I make time to regularly listen and work with the information contained in these podcasts. I hope you find them useful. I have a podcast series too, by the way!
I have always enjoyed Facebook. I am not enjoying the latest issue with data hoovering possibly influencing elections. Here are 5 simple ways to enjoy Facebook in the way (at least I) originally intended it to be used.
What is a walk-in? This article explains the spiritual concept of a walk-in, and how we might discover if we, or another person, has a walk-in present or has had a walk-in experience in the past. And transplanted organs and other transplants may also have a part to play in walk-ins.
Have you ever thought of knitting something? Knitting is a peaceful and productive activity which can also result in the creative process…and you may even end up with a scarf! Who knew? Generations of people who love to knit…
Nobody every said life was easy, or even fair, so sometimes it can be hard not to get bogged down when difficulties head our way or when the world seems to have gone nuts. In Goodness Abounds, Sarah Lawrence, along with a lot of other writers share daily stories of goodness abounds – goodness and kindness shared by everyday people in everyday situations. A lovely book to have handy, read a page per day, and be uplifted by the fact that goodness abounds and is truly still with us!
I recently read Tyler Henry’s book, Between Two Worlds. Tyler is a young and talented medium – only 21 – raised in Hanford, CA and now finding himself Hollywood’s go-to medium in LA. His accuracy during readings and his ability to make sense of the way energy is received from those who have passed on is masterful. For anyone wanting to learn how to connect with Loved Ones or simply to learn more about the phenomenon of mediumship, this book is a must.
You can set up your computer browser for spiritual practice. With a simple app and a folder or two, you will be all set to clear your energy while working. This post was inspired by a suggestion from Darren Rowse, aka Problogger. It’s important to remember that you can set up your browser for maximum focus and productivity, spiritual focus or otherwise!
The road to spiritual awakening can take many paths. Like me, you can be visited by visions or energetic experiences and start asking why they are happening.
Or, like Eldon Taylor, the author of Choices and Illusions: How Did I Get Where I Am, and How Do I Get Where I Want to Be?, you can begin to question how your own perception of the world works…and just as importantly, how other people in the world are influencing you.
Maybe you practice yoga, but haven’t tried Yoga Nidra yet? My yoga teacher introduced me to it. It’s an amazing form of in-body meditation ideally to be practiced just after a yoga session. The meaning of Yoga Nidra is ‘the art of body-sleeping’. Using body-talk, a good yoga nidra session will have you relax each part of the body in turn and then pay attention to energy flow. It’s an amazing practice and very relaxing.
How to achieve our goals? I love journaling but didn’t think a journal would help with goal-setting. Through a Facebook ad, I found the BestSelf Journal and goal-setting, journaling and achieving goals are now working much better for me. Check out this journal.
IMHO we are slowly being able to move from ‘raising’ children to consciously parenting children as we evolve. Some of that certainly has to do with a level of income, some of it also has to do with the awareness and consciousness of parents who are ready to break free of ancestral patterns and do things differently.
