Here are 3 summer reads to inspire you. The first two I bought in paperback, just for the joy of being able to use physical books instead of my Kindle – which is useful, but a completely different reading experience. I hope you enjoy my book choices, and please feel free to comment and recommend some of your own.
In Your Hidden Light – a personal guide to creating your desired life – Raana Zia pulls on personal experience and the wisdom of spiritual teachers to give us this modern and relevant approach to manifestation and co-creation. An insightful and informative read for anyone on the spiritual journey.
Nobody every said life was easy, or even fair, so sometimes it can be hard not to get bogged down when difficulties head our way or when the world seems to have gone nuts. In Goodness Abounds, Sarah Lawrence, along with a lot of other writers share daily stories of goodness abounds – goodness and kindness shared by everyday people in everyday situations. A lovely book to have handy, read a page per day, and be uplifted by the fact that goodness abounds and is truly still with us!
This is a book review of The Boy Who Knew Too Much by Cathy Byrd (the mother of Christian Byrd). Christian demonstrated past life recall of his life as Lou Gehrig. That may sound weird enough, but what if your child demonstrates past life recall and then states that you were also his mother in that past life! This book documents the journey of Christian and Cathy Byrd, a mother and son repeating their roles. Christian recalls accurate memories of being Lou Gehrig, the famous baseball player. Read on!
The road to spiritual awakening can take many paths. Like me, you can be visited by visions or energetic experiences and start asking why they are happening.
Or, like Eldon Taylor, the author of Choices and Illusions: How Did I Get Where I Am, and How Do I Get Where I Want to Be?, you can begin to question how your own perception of the world works…and just as importantly, how other people in the world are influencing you.
Have you ever wanted to get in direct contact with your Spirit Guides? Debra Landwehr Engle shows us how as Sarah interviews her on this podcast about Debra’s latest book, Let Your Spirit Guides Speak
Kryon’s 4th Cosmic law – Everything you learn spiritually can be carried over from one lifetime to the next. I ask the Akashic Records of the Crystal Cave of humanity what we bring with us when we incarnate here on Planet Earth (Gaia) and I received a long and interesting list! In celebration of International Women’s Day and Women’s History month, two books about an aspect of women in history that completely surprised me. More historical accounts about women, please, we are sorely lacking in these resources.
