Spiritual Transition Team

Spiritual Transition TeamWho is on your Spiritual Transition Team?

Watching a trailer for Decoding Deepak – a film made about Deepak Chopra by his son Gotham Chopra recently, I heard Deepak Chopra say “I’m on the (Spiritual) Transition Team” when referring to the shift in consciousness that many people are experiencing and the human consciousness movement on the planet.

It got me to thinking about my Spiritual Transition Team since I started proactively waking up to a new level of consciousness – after being hit in the face several times by a wet fish, spiritually speaking.

An off-duty psychic, one of the first people on my Spiritual Transition Team

A psychic who wasn’t even giving readings at the time grabbed my arm when I was standing in an alternative healing conference in the early ’90s (my first visit to such a place) and told me that ‘my aura was “completely blue” and that I needed to be working with energy.

I remember my body feeling the absolute truth of her words, even though my mind wouldn’t accept it at the time.  I walked away in embarrassment.

Autogenics author and Trainer Kai Kermani was next on my Spiritual Transition Team

Shortly after this I was at a business conference to learn more about Accelerated Learning and noticed a short presentation by Kai Kermani – an introduction to guided meditation.

After the brief yet completely transformational session, I found myself walking out of the room in a complete and utter state of bliss – which I now refer to as ‘grace’ – and hugging and kissing my business partner who had attended a different talk, telling her how much I loved her.  I also gave the same treatment to another colleague I had recently met at the conference. 🙂

More people on the Team

Since then the awakenings have continued and the Spiritual Transition Team continues to grow…

  • A 70 year old crystal healer and merchant who had done nothing but worked with crystals all his life
  • Two psychics at Edgar Cayce’s Association for Research and Enlightenment, who told me that I was pregnant with an Indigo Child and could perform energy sessions to help heal others.
  • My husband, who has taught me that home is where we are, not where we’re from.
  • My children, by showing me how to be true to myself at all times (still working on that one, all part of the journey!).

Once I opened my mind to the idea that I could work professionally in this field the Spiritual Transition Team started appearing en masse!

Dr Richard Bandler, one of the originators of NLP™ (Neuro-Linguistic Programming™) who singled me out in an audience once to ask me “How much bliss can you stand?”

Dr Joseph Riggio Ph.D., architect of the Mythoself™ process, who taught me – amongst many other things – to stay in the room when the problems arise and that energy vampires really do exist!

Cesar Millan – his published works and media – reminding me that everything can be interpreted through the lens of our personal energy – even our relationship with dogs.

Peggy Phoenix-Dubro, who has spent over 20 years helping us to understand the human electromagnetic field through her development of the EMF Balancing Technique® work.

Lee Carroll, who channels an aspect of Archangel Michael called Kryon – for showing me that energy can move in mysterious ways and that humor is a HUGE part of the spiritual journey.  If you like laughing as well as being informed, go and attend one of Lee’s talks – both are guaranteed.  In my opinion this man is a planetary treasure.

John Edward, for showing me through his shows, published works and live audience work that medium-ship is energy work and it is open to all of us as a spiritual practice.

Doreen Virtue Ph.D., who after working in social work and psychology decided it was time to listen to the loving angelic voices in her head and share their wisdom with the world.

And finally my mum – who ‘knew’ energy all of her life, loved music, gardening and trees.   Since she didn’t know how to use her energetic gifts, she simply lived in the energy of her life and gave much love.

Wondering…who is on your Spiritual Transition Team and how have they helped you on your journey?

I have to give this some thought… I might write my own blog post about it. Recent teachers for me would be Bashar and Abraham. Both have given me many ‘Aha’ moments. Over the last several years if I had to choose just one it would be Wayne Dyer. I think he is overlooked somewhat in that he’s a bit more mainstream and doesn’t talk so much about mystical experiences or channeling or that kind of thing. My interest with him started out on a more practical level… wanting to create a life I desire, feeling the need to change things in my environment. But the more I read his books, the more I find him to be deeply spiritual – and insightful too! I owe a lot to Buddhism so you might take it as far back as Buddha. I would credit Osho and Thich Nhat Han for providing guidance too. I also enjoy some of the advaita non-duality teachers like Mooji, Adyashanti and Gangaji. Gangaji in particular gave me some profound awakening moments. One in particular where I crossed a bridge of intellectually understanding that we are all consciousness to actually feeling it and identifying with consciousness itself. Major transition for me there. And finally there is my son who is nearly 2 years old now. He has really helped me understand what it means to truly be present – no thinking about past or future, without worry or anxiety. But when I really think about it, I realize that everyone in my life is in a way part of this team. Life is it’s own spiritual transition, constantly evolving and expanding…

    • Hi Eric,
Thanks for your thoughtful response. Lovely to hear about other people’s journeys and the masters that appear therein, including your son! Let me know if you blog about this too, I’ll share/tweet etc. Off to make sure I liked your Facebook page! Happy Solstice! Sarah

  2. Thus began my journey into conscious spiritual awareness. I moved within the world of light and shadow as I learned to own responsibility for my life experience and open to a deeper connection with Spirit.
