Why I Read the Akashic Records (and What a Pack of Stickers Taught Me)

If you’ve been around my blog for a while, you know I’ve fallen deeply in love with reading the Akashic Records. Not just as a spiritual curiosity, but as a true practice that expands my heart and awareness.

But here’s the real question: why?

Funny enough, I found my answer last week… in the sticker aisle at a craft store.

(Yes, I had originally gone in for gouache to fancy up my journal for Brené Brown’s The Gifts of Imperfection course—but if you’ve ever wandered any arts and craft store, you know how easy it is to take a detour!)

And there they were: a little pack of stickers that practically made me tear up, because they explained exactly what the Akashic Records mean to me.

Honoring the Past

Reading the Akashic Records is a way of honoring everything that has brought us here – our stories, our struggles, our joys. Not just in this lifetime, but across many lifetimes.

When I open the Records for a client, it feels a bit like sending a message through one of those ATM cash tubes: information from past lifetimes “drops in,” bringing perspective and meaning.

And perspective is everything.

What if the fear you’ve carried for years didn’t just come out of nowhere -but was rooted in a past life experience?

What if recognizing that truth could help you release it?

Often, clients make these connections themselves when I share what comes through. That’s my favorite part of working with clients – it’s always more powerful when you validate it, not me.

My role is simply to describe what I see and feel.

The Family Tree of the Soul

The Akashic Records hold astonishing detail, even down to family trees.

Time after time, I’ve seen family structures line up with startling accuracy, whether I’m reading for someone across the globe or here in Wichita.

When there’s ever a mismatch, I trust that it’s me, the human interpreter, not the wisdom of the Masters, Teachers, and Loved Ones who guard the Records.

Treasures Of Yesterday

Sometimes the Records bring forward forgotten childhood moments, resurfacing like hidden treasures.

These tender memories often hold deep meaning, especially for clients doing emotional healing. It’s as if the soul is saying: Don’t forget this part of you. It still matters.

Our Legacy

Many people come to the Records with a bigger vision: to release old patterns, heal ancestral wounds, and create a clearer path for themselves and for future generations.

There’s power in remembering. In knowing not just who we are, but why we are. So much of this wisdom already lives in our souls. Having an Akashic Records Reading brings that Soul-level wisdom into awareness.

Loved Ones and Ancestry

Sometimes our ancestors appear in the Records, too. They don’t always reveal themselves as individuals, but as a group energy that supports and guides.

Personally, I’ve been told by multiple unrelated psychics that my Great-Aunt Faith walks beside me, steady and kind, helping me navigate this life.

And I believe our loved ones do the same for us all; those who have passed on are woven into our souls’ journey in ways we can feel, if not always see.

Notes from the Akash

The Akashic Realm records everything.

It records every thought, every action, every lifetime. Sometimes I wonder if we unconsciously modeled the internet after this infinite archive of the soul? Who knows. But I love the parallel.

Once Upon a Lifetime

How many lifetimes have you lived? The answer isn’t as important as what those lifetimes can reveal.

Even if you’re unsure about past lives, exploring them through the Akashic Records often helps you reconnect with hidden parts of yourself. You can discover pieces that long to be acknowledged, healed, or expressed.

And that, to me, is the real gift of this practice: the Records remind us that we are so much more than we think. We are timeless.
