How to Recall Past Lives with Akashic Record Readings

Being able to recall past lives can change how we experience the present by releasing old blocks and restrictions.

Recall Past Lives to Reshape the Present

I’ve only experienced one formal Past Life Regression session to recall past lives. Every other experience so far has happened through Akashic Records Readings, either giving them or receiving them.

The readings I give for clients are always private. Confidentiality is a part of the trust I’ve built with my own Guides in the Akashic Records. Without that energetic agreement, my readings wouldn’t hold the same clarity or integrity.

However, when a reading reveals my own past life information, I can choose to share it—and two separate readings have done exactly that.

In the method I was taught, recalling past lives happens only when the past is directly relevant to a question or issue in the present.

Recall Past Lives – The Kansas Farmer

While I was qualifying as an Akashic Records Reader, a colleague accessed one of my past lives because I had asked about my struggles with PMDD and my monthly cycle.

Let’s just say: if you gave me a list of every PMS and PMDD symptom that exists, the only box I couldn’t tick would be “headaches.” Everything else, I’ve felt. It has never been easy.

So when I asked—with real frustration—“WHY is my cycle so difficult?”, the Akashic information came through unexpectedly:

Guilt from a past life.

According to the reading, I had lived as a hardworking Kansas farmer, before the Dust Bowl era, with a wife and four children. My colleague didn’t know I live in Kansas now—a detail that surprised us both and suddenly explained why I’ve always felt such a strong, inexplicable sense of “home” here, even as a Brit.

In that past life, my wife struggled deeply with her own cycle and often couldn’t manage the physical demands of farm life. She spent long stretches bedridden or confined to the house. My Akashic colleague told me that I—my past self—felt constant irritation and anger toward her.

When she went into labor with our fifth child, she called out for my help. But by that point, I was so emotionally disconnected that I left her alone. She and the baby did not survive.

The Emotional Reality When You Recall Past Lives

As I heard this reading, I felt the anger, frustration, and grief rise in my body—an intense but common experience when recalling past lives. The Akashic field activates memory at a cellular and energetic level through our emotions.

I’ve often had a conflicted relationship with being a woman in this life. I’ve resented what I once perceived as “limitations.”

Hearing this past life story, I could suddenly feel the ancient root of that resentment and the buried guilt beneath it.

The sadness of losing my wife and child in that past life washed through me during the reading. And with it came clarity: this was karma reaching forward into the present.

Healing the Past Through Integration Of Recall From Past Lives

I didn’t “choose” to suffer in this lifetime. But the fragmented aspect of my Soul—holding guilt, anger, and sorrow—was still active, influencing my body and emotions in specific ways.

During the Akashic Reading, I chose to integrate that fragment.

I chose to welcome that part of myself into the present moment—the “now time.”

Integration is always an option in the Records. And once I accepted this lost aspect of my Soul’s journey, the separation between my current life and that past life softened and healed.

Are My Monthly Symptoms Better Now?

Much of the time—yes.

I’m more forgiving toward the feminine aspects of myself, more accepting of how my body moves through its cycles. And recently, I found a powerful new way to support my PMDD symptoms.

On the spiritual path, I see this as synchronicity.
