9 things people can do to experience remission from illness
How can people experience remission from illness?
One of the reasons people come to me for Akashic Records Readings is because they want to gain relief from an emotional or physical issue. This can even be a chronic illness of some kind.
One thing I have learned on the spiritual journey is that someone else can never be a ‘healer’ for a person.
Understanding the true nature of healing is a much better frame of reference when we are working on being of help to others.
In my opinion, healing needs to come from the individual who is sick.
Other people who have certain gifts (such as myself) can help and assist by becoming a conduit in some way for healing information or data to help the person who is sick. We are not the healer, however.
The healer is truly the person who is sick!
Last weekend I watched the movie ‘Heal‘ (available on Netflix) and was very interested to learn more about the work of one of the practitioners involved.
Radical remission – how more people may be able to experience help with the symptoms of chronic illness.
Here’s the trailer.
This movie provides an excellent selection of options to explore for somebody looking to ease chronic health issues or even a more serious illness.
There are several options to explore, from help from diet and supplements to more alternative approaches such as energy work and Ayurvedic analysis.
One of the lesser-known approaches is something which I have experienced and used for several years, called the Emotional Freedom Technique, or Tapping.
Interviewees range from an expert in meditation called Joe Dispenza, Dr. Bruce Lipton, one of the founders of the concept of epigenetics and Gregg Braden, one of the great New Thought Lecturers of our present times.
I have been fortunate enough to see all three of the above speakers at Kryon Summerlight Conferences.
The research – how very ill people experience remission from illness – even cancer – by Kelly A. Turner
One of the interviewees I found most interesting was Dr Kelly A. Turner, author of [By Kelly A. Turner ] Radical Remission: Surviving Cancer Against All Odds (Paperback)【2018】by Kelly A. Turner (Author) (Paperback).
Dr. Turner, is a researcher, lecturer, and counselor in integrative oncology and received her Ph.D. at the University of California, Berkley.
In the movie Heal, Dr. Turner listed the 9 most common ways people experience remission from illness.
This really made me perk up my ears and pay attention since one of the 9 most common ways people experience remission from illness is — deepening your spiritual connection!
Here are all of the 9 most common ways Dr. Turner found people could help themselves move towards remission from illness, taken from the movie.
Radically changing your diet*
Taking control of your health
Following your intuition
Using herbs and supplements*
Releasing suppressed emotions
Increasing positive emotions
Embracing social support
Deepening your spiritual connection
Having a strong reason for living.
*Interesting to note, these two factors marked with a * were seen as even less significant even than the other 7 listed above!
As you can see from the subtitle of Dr. Turner’s book (Surviving Cancer against all odds) [By Kelly A. Turner ] Radical Remission: Surviving Cancer Against All Odds (Paperback)【2018】by Kelly A. Turner (Author) (Paperback), anyone who is dealing with any kind of chronic illness would benefit from knowing about these 9 different ways to experience remission from illness.
From Dr. Turner’s Amazon profile:
Dr. Turner was shocked to discover that no one was studying episodes of radical (or unexpected) remission-when people recover against all odds without the help of conventional medicine, or after conventional medicine has failed.
She was so fascinated by this kind of remission that she embarked on a ten month trip around the world, traveling to ten different countries to interview fifty holistic healers and twenty radical remission cancer survivors about their healing practices and techniques.
Her research continued by interviewing over 100 Radical Remission survivors and studying over 1000 of these cases.
Her evidence presents nine common themes that she believes may help even terminal patients turn their lives around.
So spiritual connection and developing your intuition are good for your health!
I am very proud to see that both ‘following your intuition’ and ‘deepening your spiritual connection’ made it onto Dr. Turner’s list after the research.
As a result of her work, we now have a map to follow to give us more help and hope when dealing with a serious illness.
The movie ‘Heal’ is available on Netflix, or you can buy it for $2.99 from other streaming vendors.
